Garage Floor

After two years of walking on huge rocks in the garage,

bottoming out the car driving out of the garage and

having rock dust all over the vehicles . . .

we finally poured concrete in the garage!

and also the garage apron.

The final product . . . isn't it beautiful. . .

or as beautiful as concrete can be??

The best part of the new garage floor. . .

we paid someone else to pour the concrete so we could just sit and watch!

One of the best decisions we made concerning the new house!

Well . . . Brandon didn't get to sit and enjoy watching the workers the entire time because

there was leftover concrete and he didn't want to waste it.

Along with the new garage floor and apron, Brandon quickly made forms and

poured a patio outside the laundry room door. . .

and a small sidewalk off the retaining wall stairs!

What a great day!

After it was all poured (in one day!!) and I was getting ready to leave for a girls night out, Brandon got a call that the bar was ready to be delivered!  What a great day for home improvements - new concrete and the bar!  Brandon was so excited. . . stay tuned for the bar update!
